About Event Hotel Service (EHS)

Event Hotel Service is an established service offered by our agency. For more than 20 years, we have been providing event organisers with extensive and tailor-made hotel contingents to offer their guests and visitors maximum comfort. In order to provide our customers with an even better service, we have comprehensively revised and relaunched the platform.

The goal of the planned relaunch was to optimise the parallel management of several events and to enable maximum flexibility. To do this, the existing hotel database was to be significantly expanded. It was also planned to optimise the backend with additional convenience functions and improved user guidance (usability). The booking interface for end users and the graphic appearance were also to be modernised in order to create a contemporary user experience.

The Goal

UX-/UI Design

For the booking platform we developed a new UX concept in close cooperation with the responsible product management. We analysed the needs of end users and editors through interviews and translated them into a user-centric design. In the course of this, editorial processes were also reviewed and adapted. A completely new UI design was the result.

Technical implementation

We developed a hotel database with a wide range of functionalities that enables the centralised management of a wide variety of events, hotels, allotments, rates and bookings. This means that guests always receive up-to-date, transparent and suitable accommodation offers. The booking platform is based on a modern and sustainable technical infrastructure. The front end was created using a modern tech stack consisting of Vue.js and Tailwind CSS - for a developer-friendly, maintainable and high-performance application with a consistent design.
