The Concept

As part of a comprehensive relaunch the entire portal was both visually and technically revised. A modern, progressive design now reflects the agility and power of running. Extensive platforms allow the display of large, high-resolution graphics that bring the user directly to the track.

Laufen.de Relaunch
The Backend

The technical basis of laufen.de forms an open source CMF (Content Management Framework). All functions are displayed within on a suite of different modular components. The site is responsive / adaptive and is thus optimally displayed on both the desktop as well as on smartphones and tablets. bytepark also provides the hosting platform.

Laufen.de Backend
The Frontend

The focus of the website is the news section, providing features on current events, large and small articles on the topics running, fitness and nutrition.

Laufen.de Artikel
Mobile Version

For those planning their next run, a running calendar displays all upcoming events on an interactive map (Google Maps). Thanks to various filter criteria such as date, place and length of the track, the right event can be found quickly. The right training plan for the different distances and different training levels is also available. Thanks to the export function, users can transfer events directly to their own calendar. After the event, all the results are shown in the running ranking and can be filtered by year, distance, time and runner age.
