Establishment of the infrastructure and introduction of a WMS
About the project
Ravensberger Matratzen und Möbelfreude are two home & living brands of The Social Chain AG, specializing in modern box spring beds and bedroom furniture.
The aim
The aim of the project was to equip a new warehouse site with technical infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, packing stations) and to implement the appropriate warehouse management system solution (WMS solution) for both brands in addition to the legacy merchandise management software.
The challenge
The challenge lay in the interaction between the IT project and the overall warehouse relocation project with a timeline of just six weeks.
