Flash design

Flash design is a web design segment that specifically addresses the special implementation needs and possibilities related to the Adobe Flash development environment. Whilst conventional web design is usually of a more static nature and dynamized only by integrating JavaScript effects or AJAX (or, more recently, also HTML5), Flash opens up possibilities for complex, full-screen animation and functions.

Flash design must hence already consider future intermediate and animation steps during the drafting and sketching phases. Seamless integration into the existing web design is a frequent requirement when flash animations are to be integrated into standard HTML pages. This means that Flash design must always consider what is technically feasible.
