Multimedia ZINC

Multimedia ZINC can be used to implement platform-independent desktop applications on the basis of the Adobe Flash and Adobe Flex platforms. The applications are developed in the regular development environment of Flash or Flex and subsequently compiled as desktop applications for Windows, Mac OSX or Linux by the ZINC software. Unlike Adobe AIR, desktop applications under ZINC do not require an additional runtime environment. Besides applications for the desktop, ZINC can also be used to implement demanding CD-ROMs, DVDs, screensavers and widgets.
