Our view of IT & web development

The UPSs of bytepark GmbH include concept creation, development and ongoing support of (complex) platforms for the Internet. Besides the classical translation of screen design into valid XHTML on the basis of CSS and other modern standards, we also offer the implementation of complete editing, community and content management systems.

We can additionally draw on a wealth of experience when it comes to integrating inhouse or external payment interfaces for all customary forms of payment.

Which web development software do we use?

Depending on the requirements of the project, we use software from the pool of freely available open source products, frameworks, commercial software and our own developments of necessary applications and databases. Our service additionally includes application hosting as well as AJAX and JavaScript applications.

We offer these solutions for both conventional websites and websites for mobile devices (PDAs, smartphones, etc.). We also offer optional web server administration services, including load balancing for high-traffic servers.

Web applications with MVC frameworks

bytepark GmbH develops web applications with MVC frameworks (including, for instance, symfony, Ruby on Rails, Zend and CakePHP).

One of the benefits of this is the standardized separation of presentation, application control and database as well as the break-down into small function units, thus ensuring clear structures and enhancing reuse options as well as simplifying platform support and updating.

HTML/CSS development

We ensure professional, high-quality implementation of your screen design in (X)HTML/CSS. We attach great importance not just to functionality on different platforms and browser types, but also to validity according to the standards of the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium).

Web content management

We will be delighted to advise you when it comes to selecting your content management system (CMS). Besides open source products, such as TYPO3, DRUPAL or REDAXO, we also use commercial products from other manufacturers. According to your needs, we select the right product for you and develop further add-ons and modules that may be required.

Database development and architecture

We offer database architecture development and administration services. We attach great importance to high availability, economical design and quick database queries. Our preferred products are MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQLite.
